Country Grammer, the leading active money earner in thoroughbred racing with a whopping $10.9 million in earnings in 2022, won the $200,000 San Antonio H. (G2) at Santa Anita Park on December 26th. The impressive stallion, owned by Commonwealth, WinStar Farm, and Zedan Racing, dominated the competition, finishing a clear 4 ½ lengths ahead of the field.

Under the guidance of renowned jockey Frankie Dettori, Country Grammer’s record now stands at 14-5-5-1, and this latest win added $120,000 to his already impressive lifetime earnings of $11.27 million.Country Grammer has netted cash returns of $355.09 per share to shareholders, not to mention countless days at the track. The best news, he isn’t done yet!

Trainer Bob Baffert couldn’t be happier with Country Grammer’s performance, saying “This horse is the neatest, coolest horse. He has really brought us up when we were really down. Country Grammer has now begun preparation for the $20 million Saudi Cup and $12 million Dubai World Cup.
