Selected for Commonwealth by internationally renowned Irish bloodstock agent Marette Farrell. Trained by one of Kentucky’s leading horsemen, George (Rusty) Arnold II. Biko is primed for his 3-year-old campaign and looking for his next race.

“His recent race at Kentucky Downs was proof to us that he is a two-turn turf horse. He held his own in a fast race on a very tough track. He’s ready for us to point him toward longer distances where we think he is best suited.”

He has everything you look for in a classic turf horse: great feet, a strong lean body, and a pedigree full of proven racehorses. His pedigree includes world-record-setting turf stallion Elusive Quality, all-time great race mare Ruffian, Epsom Derby winner Henbit, and Breeders’ Cup-winning international turf star, Fantastic Fellow.

He is sound, strong, and loves to work. On August 29, he breezed 5 furlongs in 1:01.60, the fastest time for the day, and did it easily. Assistant trainer Jack Bohannon remarked, “He’s really impressing us in his works. He’s never been more ready to race.”

Turf geldings like Biko typically have long, action-packed careers and that’s exactly what we’re hoping for with him. Non-stop action and excitement. We hope to see you at the races!
